So what actually is eRecruitment.
I have been asked a few times by candidates and traditional recruiters what actually is erecruitment or e-recruitment so here's a quick bit of blurb on eRecruitment, basically erecruitment is a recruitment process by which recruitment agencies and a growing number of corporate companies recruit personnel by using electronic ‘e' resources, primarily by using the internet but also encompasses the use of technologies such as CRM (candidate response management) and ATS (applicant tracking systems).
Corporate Companies and recruitment agencies are rapidly moving most of their recruitment process online, Anyone involved in the recruitment industry now have to capture, match and process candidates far quicker than before to stay ahead of competition and using erecruitment methods and tools such as searching online database technologies, and uploading vacancies to online job advertising boards and search engines, recruitment agents and employers are now filling job openings far quicker and more cost effective than ever before.
Having an online erecruitment strategy is essential in today's world of recruitment; an effective erecruitment strategy will also need to include using social media sites such as twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook etc.
There are effective tools that enhance the whole erecruitment process further, with systems such as recruitersite that multiposts positions to most of the top online media on a pay-as-you-go basis and both recruiters and corporate companies can benefit from the power of the internet to quickly transmit, process and store candidate and recruitment information.
If you require any more information on erecruitment or e-recruitment or wish to discuss how recruitersite can assist you with your recruitment advertising please call 0845 604 8343.
