Our client is a world leading handling equipment manufacturer based in the North West, who is seeking to recruit a Service Manger in order for them to develop and grow the maintenance service side of the business. Reporting to the branch manager, the successful applicant would be responsible for the service management/development and retention, quotations, personnel co-ordination, inspections and safety audits.
You must be committed to achieving results, be self motivated, with people management experience, a team builder, have a flexible approach and be extremely customer focused.
Both practical and theoretical engineering experience is necessary, with at least 3 years relevant experience in the maintenance service business of handling equipment, coupled with electrical knowledge. Basic financial and business understanding is beneficial.
This is a key management role within the company and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate good IT and communication skills.
