The three major accounting qualifications in the UK are: ACA, CIMA and ACCA. People that are interested in accountancy jobs in the UK, but still do not have the required qualifications can consider the Association of Accounting Technicians as well. The three major bodies that govern accounting jobs in the UK are: ACCA, ICAEW and CIMA.
Some UK employers require different qualifications and the more qualified a particular candidate the higher the chances of better pay and more financial stability.
