Qualification and Experience
Applicants that want to be considered for high level forest jobs must have at least a degree in horticulture, forestry, environmental studies, property management, geography or other relevant qualifications in their preferred area. There are low-level jobs that do not require a degree, but due to competition and the high demand to climb the career ladder, it is necessary to have an impressive profile and resume to get good forest jobs. If you would like quick professional recognition in forestry jobs, then it will be important to take an accredited course that is offered by the Institute of Chartered Foresters.
Behavioural Requirements
Anyone that is interested in forest jobs must demonstrate a true love for the environment. In many instances it will be necessary to work in a team during some forest jobs and as such it will be necessary to have good people skills to make this work.
