Qualifications and Experience

There are various hospitality & catering jobs that are on the market. The level of qualification that is necessary will depend on the company or if they are willing to do training if the candidate in question does not have the skills and expertise to carry out a particular type of function.

Depending on the role in question academic accomplishments may not necessarily be an advantage, because recruiters are looking for someone with experience in the required area. A High school diploma or GCSEs are usually enough for some areas in hospitality & catering jobs. Jobs that involve more specialised knowledge and leadership skills usually require a degree or certificate in that particular area to get into some hospitality & catering jobs. Other requirements include:

-Passion for plants and horticulture;
-Innovative thinking;
-IT skills.
