Qualification and Experience
The level of qualification and the experience that is needed will depend on the role and function that are involved in the various manufacturing job that are offered in different industries. Some manufacturing jobs can be learnt quite easily and do not require outstanding academic results to enter. Excellent performance on these jobs usually guarantees progression into the company at various levels.
There are also executive and management jobs that require both academic and professional results to get considered for high-level roles. A degree in engineering (mechanical, chemical, production, electrical and software) business administration or electronics is usually required to get manufacturing jobs. For others usually GCSEs with Mathematics and English included is needed. Other requirements include:
-IT skills;
-Knowledge of latest software and programs that are being used in manufacturing jobs;
-Keen on being e team player;
-Great organisation skills;
-Great communication skills in different languages.
